Hearing (Linn) February 8, 2007
TOWN OF HOLDEN
ZONING ADMINISTRATOR
HEARING

Dana & Crystal Linn                     SP 0702

The Zoning Administrator held a public hearing on Thursday, February 8, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in Memorial Hall, 1196 Main Street, Holden, MA on the Application of Dana & Crystal Linn for property located at 60 Jackson Street for a Special Permit for the expansion of a non-conforming structure for an addition.

Pamela Harding, Zoning Administrator, called the hearing to order.  Since there were no objections, reading of the legal notice and list of abutters was waived.

Mr. John Boyce, architect for the project presented the case.  In order to accommodate the applicant’s mother to move in with him, he is planning an addition to his home.  There will not be a second kitchen and the addition will be within the existing setbacks.

Mr. James McColl, Sanitary Inspector for the City of Worcester attended the meeting.  The City of Worcester is a direct abutter and Mr. Boyce showed him the plans.  After review, Mr. McColl said the City has no objections.

Since there were no further comments or questions, the public hearing was officially closed at 9:15 a.m.

The Zoning Administrator approved the special permit with the condition that 1)  The proposed addition must be built in accordance with the submitted plans.
