1. Acceptance of Minutes
Motion by Beverly Potvin Kenniston, seconded by James Dillon. It was voted to approve the minutes of March 24, 2008 meeting.
2. Miscellaneous Items
Miscellaneous Discussion Items
The assessors continued to review real estate abatement applications. The assessors voted to abate two applications and deny the third. This is the end of the abatement application cycle for Fiscal Year 2008.
The Vision Appraisal Software Users Group meeting is scheduled for May 28 and 29, 2008. This meeting is for training on Vision software. Beverly attended the Massachusetts Assessors Conference on April 16th in Sturbridge.
The assessors discussed the new GIS Program. It is now available on line from the Town web site.
The assessors will begin to prepare for the FY09 Preliminary Tax Bills.
Our next meeting will be held on Monday, May 19, 2008 at 4:30 P.M.
